Prayer to St. Gury, Archbishop of Kazan

Hierarch and father, Gury! We who stand before the sacred shrine of thy healing relics [or: before thy holy icon] , beseech thee earnestly to be always, and everywhere, an intercessor for us, a defense and protector.

Ask peace for thy flock: tranquillity, Godspeed, health and salvation.

Be our constant defender from all enemies, seen and unseen; protect us from the assault of all troubles, trials, and grief, and especially from the temptations of the dark enemy.

For those who stand here in prayer, ask the Lord for all things unto salvation, that they seek from Him in their needs and distress, so that we may all praise with thee, the all-holy name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
